Schuhle Haiti Mission Trip

The greatest commandment is to love the Lord your God with all your heart, mind, soul, and strength, and the second is to love your neighbor as yourself. This summer, the Schuhle family is making it our mission to love our Haitian neighbors by taking a missions trip to Haiti, partnering with Beaverdam Baptist Church and Mission of Hope Haiti.
Of course, our goal is to be used by the Lord to serve others and to show the love of our Lord Jesus Christ to others, but, on a personal note, as parents we want to train our children to put their faith into action – to make their faith real and give them the opportunity to be the hands of the Lord, used for His purposes. While in Haiti, we will have the opportunity to do this while helping with Vacation Bible School in a local village with about 500 children in the mornings. The afternoons will be filled with hosting a soccer tournament, as well as strategic village time where we will go door to door teaching about hygiene and sharing the gospel in very small groups with a translator.
This is an expensive venture for a family of seven traveling out of the country, and that is why we are asking for help from you. Would you prayerfully consider making a donation of any size to help us with this trip? Any amount, however large or small, will help us toward achieving our goal. In addition, we would love for you to pray for us as we prepare for this trip. Haiti can be a tough place with a lot of poverty, voodoo, and oppression. Please ask the Lord to prepare the way, to protect our team and to keep us strong, both physically and spiritually. May He use this trip to transform the hearts of our family, as well as the hearts of the Haitian people that we will be privileged to love and serve.
