About the Founder: Gail Foster, Ed.D. - I am a mom, educator, and social entrepreneur, and one of the few black females in the US providing an opportunity for children to learn Mandarin. My first social enterprise, the Toussaint Institute Fund, was about saving black boys from the 'special ed to prison track.' For that work, well over a decade ago, I received an invitation to the White House, a gubernatorial citation and numerous civic awards.
Now I Think Globally: I am an advocate for creating multilingual Americans by taking advantage of the new neuroscience on the language genius of the young brain. I have presented at the National Chinese Language Conference, and the Early Childhood Chinese Language conferences, as well as at the National Alliance for Black School Educators. My degree is from Columbia University's Teachers College in Educational Administration. Thank you in advance, for your support.
Scholarship Financials: Full day tuition, (8:30am - 6pm) is $2666 per month. Your donation allows for the enrollment of 4 - 6 children, with an annual scholarship of $7,500 to $25,000 per family. We were already diverse, with your help we can sustain and raise our levels.

Our Gift to You: A copy of Our First Storybook of Animals, by Dr. Gail Foster. This book features a girl of African ancestry, helping a boy of Chinese ancestry choose a pet from a range of animals, including most found in the Chinese Zodiac. The story line is in English, and the names of each of the animals are written in Chinese characters and pinyin.
