Our wonderful friend Sayra ( from Honduras ) needs to have TWO surgeries this upcoming week on Thursday Sept 12th, 2017.
Sayra was in the ER on Sunday Oct 1 st and it was recommended that she have her Gallbladder out ASAP. She saw a Surgeon on Monday Oct 2nd and he also recommended that she have a painful ongoing hernia repaired as well. These two surgeries are going to be done at the same time.
Sayra does not have Health Insurance and will be out of work for approximately 3-4 weeks. What money Sayra has been able to put aside is not enough to make up for the loss of her wages, and she may not be able to pay her bills for Oct/Nov without assistance.
Sayra has two sons: Herbie who works as a mechanic is able to help care for his mom, but he doesn't have enough money to be able to help with expenses, and Sibrum is working two jobs as he puts himself through college.
Sayra is the first person to help if anyone asks her, but is also the last person to ask for help for herself.
In addition to the two surgeries needed, Sayra also has Lupis, and cannot afford her medication which is almost $250.00 per month.
We are reaching out on Sayra's behalf in hopes of receiving donations to help her get through this crisis. Sayra cleans houses and does landscaping locally for numerous wonderful clients. Being out of work for almost a month will put her deep into an unmanageable hole that she may never recover from.
