Elephant Nature Park Volunteer Trip 2015

My name is Maddy, I am 20 years old, and I have the amazing opportunity to go to Chiang Mai, Thailand in November 2015! I will be traveling to Elephant Nature Park funded by Save Elephant Foundation, which provides sanctuary for the endangered species. There are only 30,000 Asian elephants left on Earth, and it would make all my dreams come true to be able to go there and help. The only thing holding me back is funding.
More about the park: It serves as a rescue center for hurt and disabled elephants and helps rehabilitate them so most can be released back into the wild. For those that are too hurt or disabled to be released, it serves as a home for them, with amazing treatment in a natural setting. Without volunteers, this amazing organization would not be standing, and I hope to do my part!
My goal is to spread awareness about the extinction of elephants; it's just around the corner if we don't stop hunting, enslaving, working, and using them. This cause means the world to me and I truly believe I can make a difference. I am hoping to raise money for the expenses that are included in going on this trip, including flights and food, AND to make a generous donation to the organization once I get there. My goal for this is 2000 US dollars.
I have never been able to afford anything like this in my whole life. I have 1 month to raise the money, and I am hoping with some help I will be able to go! ANY amount will help IMMENSELY! There is no minimum amount to donate!
