Help Zena Walk!

Zena was rescued last week from a high kill shelter on the day of her scheduled euthanization. Her previous owner likely used her for breeding until her hips & back legs were injured, resulting in a severe walking impediment and serious pain. Zena's injuries have greatly reduced her quality of life, and she will be unable to heal without an expensive $2,000 surgical procedure.

Our rescue group, Love Mutts Rescue, does not have the available funds to cover Zena's surgery. Without surgery, Zena will continue living in a great deal of pain and limited mobility with the high risk of further injuring her front legs due to overcompensation. She is also unable to be spayed until she can have surgery, due to the additional pain it would cause for her (hence the diaper photo)!

Zena is so deserving of a fulfilling future. With your help of a donation of any amount, she will be able to get the care she needs to finally enjoy her life!
