RJ's Journey

At 20 weeks pregnant, we found out it was a boy... but then got the worse news ever.... I may not be lucky enough to deliver this baby alive....and IF I did he wouldn't make it long.  NOW, RJ is 5 years old and was born with a variant of Prune Belly Syndrome. Prune Belly Syndrome is extremely rare as in 1 child in 40,000 births. This syndrome effected his kidneys, ureters, and bladder. This in turn gave RJ kidney disease, but to add to it all, on July 21, 2014, we were diagnosed with Pre-Cursor B Cell Acute Lymphocytic Leukemia! We only thought our journey was rough... until now... our visits to Children's have gone from weekly to monthly; however, missing work & vehicle maintence are still an issue...
