SAVING MONK

OMG!!!!!! I knew it was going to rack up, but not this much, we got this invoice today JUST FOR THE JURY TRIAL, we had a positive balance of 5,900.00 on day one ( had to give 5 grand deposit on trial) this is what we owe just for that. Thank God we got joint custody, now we can keep an eye and 1/2 is 1/2.
We have already spent over 30,000.00 on this BEGORE the trial, he's worth it, but Lord help! One of us should have gone to Law School.
We still have to go back to court to decide visitation rotation and days on/off......... So more fees.
Please share, please share as much as you can........
thank you in advance. I am so very glad we got joint, and have a say as to who, what, where and when anything goes on with our beautiful boy.........
PS, he graduates to Kindergarden June 4th!!!!!!!!

Ok, we had a 6 day trial from sun up to sun down with 13 jurors...... It was brutal to have our lives examined in detail. By 20 strangers, to hear made up and straight up falsehoods directed straight at our morals and integriy.
GOOD NEWS, WE GOT JOINT CUSTODY! Bad news it cost us 2,500.00 a day. OMG it is over whelming to say the least. Y'all know how much we have invested and where we were before the Jury Trial money is not an issue, but it is 'what makes the world go round' .
We still have to go to court for God knows how many more days to argue who gets what, where, when and why?
We wanted Sole Custody, but in Texas you have to just about be in prison to have that happen against a 'Mother', that said we still continue to incure tons of legal fees........ We would still appreciate any and all contributions anyone can or would give.

We still have to haggle over at a countless court hearings to clarify above said issues :(
Can we please, ask y'all to:  please share his story over and over again.

I will still drive him to and from school and all till school ends, then..... She chooses his school.  In a area of San Antonio Texas that at best has a 3 star rating. Terrible

We have been humbled by every one who has shared and given to our cause.
We have signed over the monies raised so far, to 2 lawyers. Thank you again and again.

The Lord knows we have been doing our best to sell things we no longer need, to make payments the best we can. This child is worth EVERY PENNY.
It is very hard right now Shawn (Papa) has retired from the Airforce to insure that we will be able to stay in the same place, the place Monk has grown up in all his life and calls his home to continue to fight for custody of Monk, therefore he has started a new job at a great company, welcome to civilian life.

We Pray it will all come together, but right now we truly need your help to finish up with the costs of this trial. We have spent every penny we had in savings, to insure this beautiful boy has a chance at life, a GOOD LOVING LIFE. We are willing to go the distance. We and our family have given all we can towards the bills that keep coming on his cause, and WE ARE SO CLOSE.

Could you you see your way to share this link as much as you can and as far as you can. That would help more than you know. If you can donate, please do, if not a share might get this cause out there to someone who can help.
OUR STORY:

We have had this beautiful boy in our home since he has been 3weeks old, (getting up for nightly feedings and changing of the diapers) we have cared for him in every way possible and loved every minute of it.
He is truly the light of our lives, he touches everyone he meets heart, he is a great  now, a 5 year old boy and we have high hopes for him.
He loves school and has an awesome family/friend support system, I am a homemaker and devoted all of my time to see that he has a safe and happy childhood. I work at his school every time they need me and am happy to do it, not only for him but for all the children because they are our future.

When he must go on visitation to Abbey's aunts apartment, I drive 65+ miles to get him to and from school that takes me 2-3 hours a day, (SATX traffic at 5' o clock and 9 am is terrible) just to make sure he gets to and from a great school, in a safe and caring place of learning.

This is not what he would get from his mother. She has has 2 other children and has not raised either for reasons I can't and won't go into it's just to sad. She has her own drug addictions to deal with.
His father (our son) he has his own issues with drugs and bounces from one place to another, we don't even know where he is. This also saddens our hearts but he is an ADULT and chooses this life style for himself. We spent our time and money, sheltered all of them  to show him drugs were not the path he should take.

We really need your support to make sure this child does not fall into the wrong hands and can continue to enjoy a safe and happy environment with people who truly love him for the right reasons. We do not want to see him fall into the pattern of his parents.
Monk is doing- and loving school and his relationships with his teacher and The Lord in our home that it makes us jump for joy.

Anything will help, please share this page with as many people as you can.
Thank you in advance for any help you can give, and taking the time to read about our wonderful boys struggle.
