Surgery Fund for Baby Miracle Bless

On May 9, 2014, a baby girl was born to Jasha Nicole Benjamin and Michael Moreño, both 23 years old, from Talisay City, Negros Occidental, Philippines. But before the baby's birth, they already knew that the new angel in the family will be born with a congenital defect. And so they named her MIRACLE BLESS.
Baby Miracle is born with a cleft lip and a neurologic birth defect called OCCIPITAL MENINGOENCEPHALOCELE. It manifests as a small bump at the back of the baby's head. The bump grows in size everyday because of fluid build up. The doctor recommends surgical excision to remove the bump and repair the encephalocele, preferably before the baby turns 6 months old. That would be on November 2014.
The mother, Jasha has to stop working to take care of Baby Bless, while Michael works as an ordinary employee earning minimum wage here in the Philippines. The family could not raise the PhP400,000.00 (approximately USD$9300) required for the surgery on their own.
