Bone Marrow Transplant

After battling Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia for 10 years and exhausting all chemotherapy treatments available, Leon is undergoing a bone marrow transplant.  A bone marrow transplant is extremely expensive and will require hospitalization for 3-6 weeks.  After being released from the hospital, we are required to live near the hospital for 1-2 months while he receives outpatient treatment (blood and platelet transfusions, antibiotics, etc.) several times a week .  We are asking for help with the medical expenses not covered by Medicare and housing expenses while living near the hospital.  Leon is one of the good guys and dearly loved by his friends and family.
