I am 43 and  This is my 1st foal.  I bred the perfect pair. To have my 1 and only forever foal she was bred on Easter 2017 and on Easter of 2018 my Cross was born into this world.  His short life has started out hard I had to pull him and his mother refused him and produced no milk. He was diagnosed sepsis from the placenta and so our battle began.  Yesterday he whinnied to me and tried to escape, today he is on an operating table having his joints drained and rinsed. He has had 24 hour care with tube feedings and may need an umbilicus surgery. There is good prognosis for him with enough money and time. I estimate with continued care and a bill currently at 2600 that 6000 is a good estimate. If i could get half of that raised I can get the rest. I watched my brother die of ALS this last year and I couldnt save him..but with money I can save my Cross.
