Save Ammo's life

Ammo is the most loving 3 year old Doxie you would ever meet.  My name is Brittany, I went just over 3 years ago to put a deposit on a newborn Doxie puppy, when I arrived it was a puppy mill.  I gave the woman all of my money and took him home,  he was so very loved, I treated him like an infant, when I had my son I couldn't continue treating him like an infant, I had to find a better option for him.  My life long best friend Heather had  always loved Ammo so so much, She celebrated two years of sobriety and she adopted Ammo from me, it's all history from there.  Ammo is her child, he is very well cared for, much better than most.  He is on premium dog food, he is kept in perfect weight which is so crucial to this breed. 

Ammo is a loving active dachshund. On Wednesday night he was jumping off the bed in true Ammo fashion but this time he hurt his back causing paralysis. Heather and Max rushed him to the Emergency Animal hospital where the Doctors made him as comfortable as possible but informed her that he would need surgery costing over $4,000. Not including the $400 it cost to keep Ammo for 12 hours and the MRI's need estimating around $2,000. There is also going to be multiple medicines needed to get Ammo through. We are hoping to reach a goal of $10,000 to cover the majority of the procedure, medicines, and multiple follow up appointments. If you have ever had a dog or other family pets, you know they are more than just animals to us. They become a part of our family and Heather is unable to save her fur baby without your help.
