Hi, I'm Channy, the founder of The Black Art Expo—launched in August 2018 with a bold, double mission:

To curate a physical Black Art Expo that uplifts and celebrates Black creativity.

To build a platform for Black artists and art lovers through powerful content, inclusive programming, accessible resources, and intentional community.

Since day one, we've been on a mission—and we’ve made real impact. We've grown a vibrant digital community of over 300,000 supporters, including cultural icons like Queen Latifah, Damon Wayans, Chance the Rapper, Samuel L. Jackson, Lauren London, and many more.

Now, we’re counting down the days to our 7th annual Juneteenth celebration: The Mazeum—a one-of-a-kind museum exhibition designed like a maze, where we challenge visitors to revisit their relationship with freedom

As incredible as this journey has been, the truth is: love and passion can only take us so far. To keep growing, elevating Black artists, and producing world-class experiences like The Mazeum, we need something more—working capital.

So today, I’m calling on you—my community—to help us continue this vital work. If you believe in the power of Black art, in the beauty of our stories, and in the importance of this platform, please support. Every contribution helps.

Preserving a Legacy of Culture, Creativity, Black Joy, and Community—together.
