Please Help Rocco

We are raising money for our puppy Rocco, the 2 year old bluenose Pit bull. But he's just not any Pit bull....

About 3 months ago we noticed a little lump on his back right leg; we watched it closely and over time noticed it was growing. Vet after vet, and still we were no closer to finding out the cause to this growing lump. Nobody could help give us an answer. We had a blood sample taken under a microscope and was told that it wasn't cancer and that he is too young for cancer anyway. With the lump growing bigger we took him to a surgeon who took some tissue samples for a lab biopsy. Within a few days, one of the vet's finally got back to us. "Rocco has Soft Tissue Sarcoma." Our family was speechless.. Not only was it the worst possible news, but how could it happen now... To only a little puppy :( It was a shock to everyone that our two year old baby has cancer, it just happened... So we're left with two options, either get the tumor removed and put him through chemo therapy, or get his leg amputated from the knee down. If we choose the Chemo, the cancer will most likely return within the next few years, and the second time around is usually much more aggressive. Rocco would then have to go through it all over again. Right now we are waiting on a second opinion from a specialized surgeon. Everyone we have spoken too says to have Rocco's leg removed so it doesn't spread, or reoccur later in life. If we stick to that decision he will live a long and healthy life like planned. Please take a moment to help Rocco with his surgery... We are doing all we can on our end but unfortunately we can come up with only so much in this short amount of time, and the longer we wait the further the cancer cells can spread leading to the inevitable... Please, anything you can contribute will be greatly appreciated.
