Join our efforts to rescue Pitt, the dog and his owner, Shann Christen. Pitt is a true "WonderDog" surviving advanced kidney disease--living with kidney levels incompatible with life and fighting a severely low red blood cell count. Living on love and character, Pitt not only lives but is thriving while fighting end-stage kidney condition. He is so brave!
"When Pitt was diagnosed, my heart was broken.
I had to make a choice to transition him-- 3 weeks later." Plans were made with Pitt's doctor and Aunt Sara his spiritual guide and pet communicator." He was supposed to be put down 6pm, but around 2 in the afternoon I started to receive calls from everyone asking me to postpone--of coarse I agreed. Two days later, Pitt got out of bed beating death! Today, Pitt continues to live as a happy, lively "old dog" Shann
shares proudly.
Pitt's initial medical costs quickly added up to $7,000 and the Wonder Dog's end-stage kidney condition is $1,500 every month.
Shann has given so much to so many of us with hair care, hair restoration, event make-up and personal gifts. He is underwater and needs our help. The funds will be used to continue Pitt's veterinary care so Shann doesn't have to worry.
We have this opportunity to celebrate the life and passion of an amazing dog and dear friend. We call out for all lovers of life and passionate defender of animals. to support a cause so close to all our heart.
Our goal is to raise $7,000 to assist Pitt's Dad in affording the care he needs. If we each donate $50 to $100 which is one night out for us... we can make a huge difference in Pitt's and Shann's life. Everything raised over and beyond will go to help other older dogs in need.
