To the Future!

Brazilidade is a social enterprise driven to improve the lives of those living in underprivileged communities in Botafogo, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. We strive to create access to resources for individuals in our community--such as providing after school programs for our youth--which will provide long-term socio-economic opportunities and to help provide them an alternative to drug and crime related violence. We aim to destigmatize the misconceptions associated with favelas and aim to bring a voice of pride in our favela community. Our tours and lectures offer an immersive learning experience for students, universities, and tourists that explores the social and cultural aspects of the favela identity. We support local projects that provide resources and educational activities for residents in our community to benefit their well-being. With guidance and resources, we will pave a path towards greater opportunity and develop economic sustainability. 


As we begin to open our tours back up, we welcome any support in making sure that we raise enough funds to continue to help feed rescued/sheltered animals, as well as to help support bringing back company branded merchandise in the tours, and to make sure each visitor has a comfortable tour as they visit our beautiful home.
