Help Save Ben the Mastiff Pup

Our sweet foster pup, 12 week old, bull mastiff pup Ben was surrendered to our rescue, SOUL Dog Rescue & Rehab, with several siblings. We had no idea Ben had a very serious issue when he first arrived. He was about 1/2 the size of his siblings and quickly we realized he couldn't eat. Nothing would stay down. Poor Ben was slowing starving. After a preliminary exam and X-rays, we discovered Ben's issue. And it was serious.
First Ben has mega-esophagus. That causes him to throw up his food, but the bigger problem is a congenital defect near Ben's heart called a Persistent Right Aortic Arch. It's like a blood vessel wrapped tightly around his esophagus keeping the food from going down. For now Ben gets liquids for his meals but what he really needs is surgery. With an estimate of $6,000, we are at a loss.
Our rescue is 501c3. Please help with what you can. The sooner Ben can have the surgery, the sooner he can have a normal life. We don't want to lose him.
