Help Fight the War in My Rack

Donation protected
In February of 2013 , I had my very first mammogram . I found a lump in my right breast . Imagine my surprise when the radiologist said " you need to see a breast surgeon , you have a tumor with a multi focal mass , it's needs a biopsy . I was shocked yet calm . When my husband Michael went to my first visit with my good friend Mary we got news from my breast surgeon that she was setting me up a biopsy for grading of the tumor and size of the mass . I also
needed a biopsy of my lymph nodes that were swollen and I didn't even realize it . Her words were " this will not come back as benign " and sure enough she was correct a week later I received what no woman wants to hear " Melissa you have a grade 3 tumor and you are triple negative " with a large mass . And so what did that all mean to me? .... nothing at the time I felt the floor fall out from underneath my feet . Triple Negative Breast Cancer meant that my tumor did not respond to any of the hormones which meant is it a more aggressive type of cancer spreading quick and to other areas. The only treatment I could ever have would be chemotherapy , radical double mastectomy, radiation and I just started my second round of chemotherapy to last 6 months. I am not working bc I work with small children . My immune system is very compromised at this time . We are struggling to make everyday necessary items such as simple things like toiletries and the bills are piling up . We have accrued so many medical bills and I have three children , Demitrius 18 ,Isabella 11 and my youngest Sophia Rose age7 . We have been through so much already as a family . As you can imagine this takes a huge toll on your marriage, and family - caregivers. I am at this point of losing hope , I am physically , emotionally and mentally drained.I have to take 7 cytoxin chemotherapy pills a day plus go once a week for infusion for six more months. I pray everyday for everyone but myself because I fear what will happen to my children if anything happens to me. I see the constant fear in my husbands eyes when he looks at me . My dog doesn't leave my side it's like she even knows mommy is sick . I am humbly asking for any donation small or otherwise just to relieve some of the financial burden off of my husbands shoulders . He is the only income coming in right now until god willing I can return next year to work .
So won't you give a little to stop and help fight the war in my rack ?
You would be saving a mommy and a wife !

Fondly,
