Hello Friends,
I have exciting news! I will be recording and releasing my debut album this year! (2017) It has been taking some extra time because I want to make sure I do it right.
The album will consist of mostly original music by yours truly. As most of you know I have been writing my own music since I was seven. It was a rough start in the beginning, but over the years I have learned how to better communicate with music. My songwriting started out as self-serving but I find that my life experiences can help others. This, my friends, is what I want to share with you.
I have worked with many artists over the past decade and I am in the process of refining my collaborators for this project. I hope to give you the most genuine musical portrait.
Of course, I cannot do this without help. Since most of you know I have been working as an independent entity since I was 20 years old when my mother passed away. Through my struggles to make ends meet financially and trying to legitimate myself as an artist I learned a very valuable lesson: ‘It is okay to ask for help’. In order to move forward I need your help. I know everyone's situation is different and whatever you are able to contribute means the world to me. As I move forward with this project I will start to set up more campaign rewards. The $8000 goal will help to pay for the recording, mixing, mastering, musicians, and materials. If I am able make some extra money it will help pay for merchendise and setting up a tour for fall 2017.
Things are currently in the creative process for the project but as a contributor I will share with you the latest updates as we move forward.
