Sarah's physical therapy

Hi friends, family and extended community,

I've hit one of those places in life where I need a little help from my friends to get by.

On September 23 I had a freak accident in the dog park. It was a combination of a large dog running very fast and my strong, grounded stance that resulted in a dislocated patella in my left knee.  It's one of those things that you can't plan for, and it really knocked me off my feet (literally and figuratively).  My knee is dislocated and I am unable to walk without crutches.  In order to heal from this accident, I will need intensive physical therapy 3 times a week.  While I do have health insurance through my employer, it isn't very good.  I guess that's the reality of working for a non-profit and our health care system.  My co-pay for each visit is $50 which amounts to $600 a month.  I am not currently working and my paid time off is about to run out.  With the impending possibility of no income and growing expenses, I need a little help to pay for the unexpected costs.
