Sarah Elizabeth (Holmes) Saylor
On March 31, 2018, Sarah passed from this world to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. She was born the daughter of Gary and Roxanne Holmes on December 27th, 1990. Sarah is survived by her husband, Tim Saylor and their two young daughters. She is also survived by her parents Gary and Roxanne Holmes; Grandmother Emily Utterback; her brothers, sister, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Sarah blessed the lives of those who came into contact with her. She carried a sweet and gentle spirit and was full of kindness. She had a beautiful smile and had a tremendous gift of music which she freely shared, particularly through her violin. Sarah will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
We now start a new journey. Just as life changes when you get married or have a new child, life changes when we lose someone close to us. We will prevail because God is with us, but it will be a long road.
One of the things that is important to Sarah and I is the education of our daughters. It is important to us that they are homeschooled. We believe it is the responsibility of the parent to educate their children. Not only in academia but in worship, faith, life and work. So that is the road we continue to travel.
