Sarah Moon Cancer Fund

Hello Groomers, Grooming community, Dog Fanciers and Dog Lovers,

My name is Kat. Many of you know me by "GroomsbyKat" on Facebook, and as "Kat05" on PG.com. Some of you might know of Sarah Moon. She is a friend and a fellow competitor.
Sarah was able to make it onto GroomTeam USA this year, but like most groomers she works long hours, often working 7 days a week, 12 hours a day to cover her bills and allow her to do some competing. Sarah is always willing to help a fellow competitor come up with dogs to compete with, and assists in maintaining those dogs for long periods of time leading up to the contest. Even though she was battling her own difficulties, she volunteered her time and her talent to assist in the effort to help Oklahoma groomers

Sarah has been diagnosed with Cervical Cancer. She is only 28 years old. She has been able to get some financial help from various cancer foundations to help with her treatment, but grooming is her only source of income. Her significant other (Jon) is her assistant and they work together in the business. She has to have another surgery to combat this insidious disease, that will put her out of work for 6-8 weeks. In this time period she will have no source of income. Even though Sarah has been working 7 days a week since her last surgery, I am worried she will not be able to rest knowing that she is laid up, and not be able to make her household bills.

I am asking and hoping we can pull together and assist her in this time of need. We are asking for donations to help Sarah through a very difficult time, that can be made a little less difficult through the kindness of the grooming community.
