Sara's Medical Fund

Thanks for stopping by!  We are raising money for my cousin, Sara Paulson,  who recently graduated with her Bachelors in Elementary Education (2015) and will complete her Masters of Arts in Teaching this May.  She was ready to begin the next chapter of her life and start teaching this Fall when recently she was diagnosed with an inoperable Grade 2 Astrocytoma (brain tumor).  Once she has graduated on May 14th she will head to Rochester, MN to the Mayo Clinic and begin a 6 week treatment of Proton radiation.  While in treatment, and maybe longer, she will not be able to work but will still need to cover monthly costs here in Arkansas.  Also, we are raising additional funds to cover medical costs not covered by insurance, living expenses in MN, and travel expenses between AR and MN. 

As of right now, since Sara does not know how the radiation will affect her, she will begin the Fall as a substitute teacher to gain her strength back before going into a classroom full time.  Please help her start her next chapter of her life on solid ground to build her future, not swamped in medical debt.  Thank you so much for your time and donations!  Our family appreciates all the help you can extend.  We are rallying behind our amazing cousin, sister, daughter, and granddaughter to help her clear this hurdle.  She is a smart, hard working, resilient lady who can't wait to become a classroom teacher!
