Final Step for Licensure: Study Guide Prep

Hello! My name is Sara and I have been working towards licensure as a marriage and family therapist. I completed my masters program in May 2018. I have been working in the mental health field since 2015. During this journey, I have gained over 3000 hours of experience providing therapy to children, adolescents, and adults with varying needs. Applying for licensure involves multiple fees, including the submission of my hours and the exam fee itself. I have already saved up for those fees but I have not yet saved for this. My life has been changed through my time working in mental health. It has helped me through my own self exploration and to process my childhood traumas, life experiences, and discover who I truly am. Those who know me know I am and always have been a therapist at heart. I truly care for others, have strong empathy, and I give everyone my all. I live my life to provide for my family and to help change others' lives for the better. I have overcome many things in life and I want to add this exam to that list. I have been hesitant to ask for support but recently I decided I deserve the chance to be successful on my first attempt at the licensure exam. I struggle with theories of counseling and this exam will give me additional support in addressing my deficit areas.
