Sandra Goss is unable to stay in the home and does not have permanent shelter for herself and 5 grandchildren. Donations will go towards providing new, permanent housing for the family and living expenses. All other donations of clothes, food, water, toiletries, etc. can be made to Northridge Academy at 4100 West Coldwater Rd. All donations are appreciated!

Sandra Goss has five beautiful grandchildren that range in age from 11 months to 9-years-old.
They're currently living in a home in Flint, but she's not sure how much longer that will last.
"I really need a house for my grandbabies," said Goss.
The home they're living in isn't in good shape, and with a high water bill and back taxes from the previous owner, she's told she'll lose this home.
"It's infested with rats, holes in the walls and I've been in foreclosure. I tried to do everything to keep it but they told me I'm not the owner at this time," says Goss.
Just making it day to day has been an uphill battle. She has electricity, but no heat so she using the stove to keep warm.
"I don't have no water, me and my grandbabies…. we sleeping on the floor. We don't have no beds and they don't have too much of nothing. No clothes and stuff you know I'm doing the best I can." She says her son, the children's father is incarcerated, and their mom is in a halfway house.
With five mouths to feed and a fixed income, food is hard to come by.
Goss says she's reached out to a lot of people and organizations for help.
"Everybody has turned their backs on me, closed the doors on me. I've been begging for help and I done got on my knees so I don't know what else to do," said Goss.
But despite the tough times, she says her grandchildren keep her strong
"My grandbabies are the ones that keep me going. I be crying they say come on grandma we're going to be alright."
