Support Samuel's TECHO bldg. trip

Dear family & friends, in five weeks (end of October), I will travel to Isla de Leon, a neighborhood on the outskirts of Cartagena, Colombia. I will travel with group of volunteers from Miami to build five homes and revisit the people of Isla de Leon who became my friends when I last visited.
This will be my 3rd building trip with Techo and I feel privileged to be able to go on such a trip and work with these wonderful people whose lives we help improve by building a dry, safe home. People in this squatter community live in tiny one-room tin shacks, built on dirt floors, which leak each time it rains.
Next week I turn 14. Some of you have generously given me birthday gifts in the past and others gave to our family Techo fund last year. May I ask that you consider giving a donation to this building trip instead of a gift to me?
Your donation will really help change the lives of some deserving and special people.
