Help Sam's EC Recovery

I'm starting this gofundme on behalf of my dad, Sam. He has been a resident of Historic Ellicott City since 1998. His current house, which he moved into in 2004, was destroyed by the flood on May 27th a second time, worse than when it was flooded in July 2016. Both of his vehicles are trashed, along with all of his belongings, again. Sam just moved back in to his house 6 months ago after the first flood of 2016.

Sam does have flood insurance but last time it only covered 70%. 

Sam is a wounded, disabled Vietnam Vet.  Sam is the kind of person who is there in a heartbeat if you say you need help. Also, he has put his mark on Historic Ellicott City with his amazing stone and brick masonry skills in multiple locations.

Please help Sam's recovery go a bit smoother and quicker than last time.  Sam needs these funds to replace his vehicle and his work truck. He needs these funds to fix the property damage to his house. He needs these funds to replace his furniture, clothes, appliances, tools, dishes, basically everything.  

Update:

After speaking with my dad, he has decided he doesn't want to continue this gofundme page and has asked me to take it down. 

I wanted to let you know, those of you who did donate already, that we appreciate it SO much. The funds that were raised will be going to help replace his vehicle. I will be withdrawing the funds on his behalf and delivering them to him since he doesn't have an email to be a beneficiary. Maybe one day I can get him to own a computer. Nah, probably not. 

Sam asks that you please donate instead to the HoCoReliefFund through the Community Foundation of Howard County. He will be applying for funds through that.
