Support Samantha's Missionary Training

Hello my dear friends and family! Thank you for taking the opportunity to visit this page and consider supporting me in my endeavor to
become a missionary. A little about my story:

After attending many short term mission trips to countries such as Mexico, Zimbabwe and Romania, the Lord put a desire on my heart to serve somewhere long-term. The next step was to get rid of all my student debt, which the Lord helped me finish off last November! Then I took a missions course called Perspectives where I learned that there are still so many countries who have zero access to the Good News, and the US only sends 1 in 100 missionaries to these least-reached places! It was also in this course where I learned that the most strategic way to foster lasting growth in these countries is by bringing the Word to them and working alongside locals to plant a church in their own unique culture, language and customs.

In order to prepare for such a task, the Lord led me to attend a missionary training school called Radius International that will begin this August. The school specializes in training for church planting in the least reached people-groups. They call it "pioneer" church planting, because it involves bringing the Gospel to those people groups who would otherwise never have any kind of access to it.

My training is 9 months long, and after its completion next June, I hope to join a team and begin church planting in one of these least-reached people groups. As to where that could be, only the Lord knows at this point!

Ways you can support!

• Prayer, prayer, and more prayer! I leave for this training program on August 21st! It is located in TJ, Mexico. Please pray for last minute details to be ironed out before I move down, for ease in learning Spanish while I am there, for making new friendships and building community, and for a deepening of my faith and trust in the Lord. You can also be praying that the Lord would begin forming a team with the students at Radius and that He would lead us to find a people-group to partner with.
• Financial support is always appreciated! Since I will be quitting my job to attend this training, I will need about $1700 a month to support myself while living in Mexico. This includes tuition and day to day living expenses like transportation, laundry, cell phone, etc.
