Sam Blekhman Cancer Treatment

Dear Friends and Family of AEPi,
It is with great sadness to announce that one of our own has been diagnosed with cancer. Sam Blekhman is a 4th year here at the University of Iowa and is a well-respected brother of our fraternity.
In order to help with some of the unexpected medical costs, we have started a fund and a campaign to help alleviate some of the costs for the Blekhman family. We are selling bracelets that say, “AEPi Sam Strong” as a constant reminder that every day we are fighting with and for Sam. Bracelets can be bought from any of our members for $10.
Sam is currently undergoing chemotherapy and is set to have surgery in January.
Any and all donations are greatly appreciated. If you would like a bracelet, please donate $10 here, and collect your bracelet from any AEPi brother.

My name is Alec Deer, I am from Highland Park and have known Sam since Highschool. These funds will help Sam cover medical expenses (ie costs of medical care in the hospital, and other relevant expenses that come up while he is unable to work). We will hopefully have the funds in time to get him the check by Thanksgiving.
