Salimah Needs A Kidney

Hello, I’m Davonn, a firefighter, father and husband. My wife, Salimah was diagnosed with Chronic Kidney Disease while pregnant with our youngest child in 2019. Since then, her condition has progressed to end stage 5 kidney failure.

She is on the transplant list. Unfortunately, there aren’t possible living donors within our family and friends.

We were encouraged by our community to create this page to help with financial support as she awaits a kidney donor and through her recovery.

My wife is a 33 year old super mom. She has been a flight attendant for 10 years; exposing the kids and I to the world. Her illness has taken a tremendous physical toll which means she’s not able to work as much. Despite enduring physical and emotional pain, she maintains a positive attitude and is optimistic for a healthier future.
