Meet Saja,
On May 27th, 2014 someone left an unconscious kitten on apartment steps in a small town, Pohang (포항), in South Korea. The kitten was brought to a vet, and was given life expectancy of less than 24 hours. The kitten was found wrapped in bubble wrap, in a coma, had severe internal bleeding, a cracked left skull and was extremely dehydrated. By miracle, the vet stabalized her and and by June 5th, she was healthy enough to make a trip to Seoul, to her new home, with her new momma, me. Everyone was excited as the vet stressed she needed further care that she could only receive in the Seoul are. However 2 month old Saja is suffering from issues no one expected, she is having seizures and for a reason which is still unknown. She is too little to get a MRI, but we are striving to get her healthy at whatever costs necessary. She is being treated with medicine to depress the seizures, and takes frequent trips to the vets office, including being rushed in emergency situations due to multiple seizures, where she receives an oxygen treatment, as well as an IV drip treatment. As of late, we also have reasons to believe that Saja is under stress because she is now going blind, making the process all that much harder. Still she is fighting.
I am sincerely asking for donations to help with the costs of my rescued baby so we can get her healthy and give her a second chance at life. Any amount is appreciated and any extra funds will be donated to the Animal Rescue Korea to help the over-populated community of animals in need. I hope that even if you are unable to donate, please share this story. Not just for Saja, but for all the animals in South Korea who go to kill shelters, receive abuse, or who are just thrown away as if they are trash, left alone to die, like Saja once was.

사자는 포항에서 혼수상태로 두개골 골절이 되어 랩에 둘러싸인 채 발견된 두 달 정도 된 새끼 고양이랍니다. 기적적으로 사자는 포항에 있는 동물병원의 도움을 받아 몸 상태가 어느 정도 진정되어서 서울로 올라와서 제 품으로 오게됬죠. 사자가 지금까지 살아남기 위해서 수 많은 어려움을 극복해야됬답니다. 사자는 혼수상태에 영양 실족까지, 그것도 모잘라 두개골이 골절되어 꼬리마저 다친 상태로 서울에 있는 저에 품으로 오게 됬답니다. 지금 현재 사자는 발작 증세를 보이기 시작했고 이제 곧 MRI 검사를 받아야하는 지경까지 이르렀네요. 현재는 병원에서 처방받은 약을 복용하고 있으며 동물 병원을 앞으로 자주 가야된다는 소식까지 의사선생님한테 전해드렸어요. 사자를 살리기 위해서 엄청난 병원비가 예상되고 있는 가운데 펀드레이저를 시작하기로 결심했어요. 사자가 제 2의 인생을 행복하게 살아갈 수 있기 위해서는 여러분의 도움이 필요하답니다. 아무리 작은 액수의 돈이라도 사자에게는 큰 힘이 될테니 사자를 도와주세요~
