Safe Sleeping for Rawlynd
Rawlynd is our 6 year old son who suffers from epilepsy and global developmental delays. He is unable to walk, talk, or even eat by mouth. He also lives with reflux, which most people take a tums for but its much more than that for him. Because of his condition, he needs special and very expensive equipment. Without this special equipment, he is either not safe or causes him to be unable to participate in activities with the rest of his family.
At this time, we are working on getting Rawlynd the bed that his doctor has decided he needs. This bed is extremely expensive and insurance refuses to cover the cost. Unfortunately this means that because Rawlynd is not safe in any other type of bed, that he has to sleep on the floor. This should not be acceptable for any child however, at $12,000 it is not feasible for us to simply go out and purchase this bed. We are also trying to get him a wheelchair accessible van to safely transport him. All this while trying to help cover costs for things not covered by insurance. 
As you can see from his pictures, Rawlynd is a very sweet and happy little guy. He brightens the world with his smile and the abundant amount of love he has for everyone he meets. He is such a gift to us and everyone that has gotten to know him. He deserves to have a safe bed that he can also be comfortable in to sleep at night. Please help us reach this goal for such a special and deserving little boy.
