Sadie Lou needs YOU! Sadie Reynolds

Today's post is very very difficult for me. It is with very heavy heart that I am posting today. 15 days ago a tumor was found in our youngest daughter's Left Femur. For those of you who know Sadie Lou, she is only 12 and has been a healthy funny quirky kid her whole life. What we thought were growing pains (child grew 5 inches in as many months), turned out to be something far more serious. The last 15 days have been a whirlwind of doctor appointments, test, surgeries and chaos. We know she has a sarcoma, we just don't have final diagnosis on the exact one and a treatment plan. We will get these next week when the results of this Friday's PET scan are in and the pathology report for yesterday's biopsy is back. She has had 2 biopsies in 7 days and had a port implanted in her chest for chemo. To support the family on their journey
I am a long-time friend of Sadie's mom and am just devastated for this precious family as they face astronomical medical bills and expenses, in addition to the stress and fears that any parent would feel! Heather's pay will end on 3/30 when her PTO runs out (she is a teacher.) For 30 years I have been included in Sadie's mom's immediate family. I have rejoiced with them and prayed with them through hard times, but this is one none of us anticipated!
