Sade needs to DANCE this summer!!

After auditioning and being accepted at a number of amazing schools, Sade has decided to attend Hubbard Street Dance Chicago's 4-week intensive in Iowa City followed by another 4-week intensive at Dance Theatre of Harlem!  



We are applying for financial aid and will hopefully receive some scholarship assistance, but even if she gets the maximum aid, we will still have to come up with a significant amount to cover Sade's housing, transportation and supplies (pointe shoes, leotards, tights, etc).

I will be using as much of my tax refund as I can to cover those expenses, but with a number of bills that need to be paid down to make the rest of 2014 bearable for my family, I cannot commit all of it without first exploring all other options.  This is where I am enlisting the help of "the village".  It takes a villiage to raise a child and it takes a supportive villiage to help that child fulfill their potential.    

God has blessed her with this amazing talent and since she has been put in my charge it is up to me to be sure she is able to bear the full fruit of what she's been given.  He's made a way out of no way before, so I have faith that He will continue to do the same, and I pray He will put it in your hearts to help--even if just a little bit.

Every dollar will help close the gap and allow me to keep a few more of my limbs and organs to make her dream a reality. ;-)  We thank you in advance and will keep you posted.
