DAAC Youth Sacramento Conference

Please help our future EJ leaders participate ~~August 12th – 15th~~!   We are a small grass roots community based organization. We recognize and are responding to the need to build our future leaders; building their skills to enable them to fight for a safe community to raise their children in. Much safer than the one they have inherited.
We are going back to Sacramento to continue our educational efforts.  We will be joining the California Environmental Justice Coalition for their conference in Sacramento before heading to the Capital for a day of learning and visiting legislative staffers for our area.  These venues are critical learning experiences we do not want them to miss out on.  Environmental Justice Conferences provide a tremendous atmosphere of solidarity not easily replicated.  It’s family oriented and a great opportunity for them to learn from amazing EJ leaders, tour the capital and build upon efforts they have recently started by meeting in district with our State, Local and Federal  representatives on issues impacting our dream of a healthy community.  

We have changed our goal amount to reflect the travel support we will receive from the California Environmental Justice Coalition.  We still need to cover the balance of travel expenses.  Thank you for your support.
