Sac State Men's Rowing

Hi Everyone!

It’s winter break again and the athletes of the Sacramento State Men’s Rowing team are training hard for the upcoming spring racing season! The team is currently training twice a day on beautiful Lake Natoma in Gold River California. To be competitive in the world of collegiate rowing an athlete must row around 20,000 meters a day! That’s a lot of work! But, that’s the name of the game and the rowers are happy to do if it means bringing home the gold.

We currently have 30 athletes on our roster and are going to attempt to keep the wheels of 3 rowing machines moving for 24 hours in hopes of reaching our goal of 1,000,000 meters! We are calling this an “Erg-a-thon” and will be showcasing our athleticism in the school quad on Febuary second and third.  Any support you can give us will be greatly appreciated.
