This #GivingTuesday, Special Olympics Illinois decided to try something different. We wanted to give our friends and fans a chance to change a life. You can be part of a difference-making gift in the lives of our athletes. Your generosity will help bring more hopeful athletes off of the sidelines and onto the field of play. There they can show to the world – as well as their friends and loved ones in the stands – what it looks like to give your best effort. To say yes, I can! $10: Covers the cost of a medal for an athlete. Ask an athlete to see their medal, and we guarantee it will come with a thrilling story and ear-to-ear smile. Help us put as many medals as we can around the necks of these proud victors. $25: Supports local competitions throughout Illinois’ 102 counties. These events serve the most – and most in need – athletes. $50: Establishes a Development Track for Athletes on the autism spectrum and/or with sensory considerations. $100: Provides a free health screening for an athlete allowing them to compete in one of 19 sports!  $250: Provides Global messenger Training - a weekend-long course for athletes who want to tell their story! Hear from several Athlete &amp; Global Messengers, about how Special Olympics Illinois has transformed their lives!  <iframe media_type="0" media_id="Up_uIfp7vWA" class="youtube-replace" title="YouTube video player" style="margin-bottom:20px;width:560px;height:315px;" src="//www.youtube.com/embed/Up_uIfp7vWA/?rel=0" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen="1"></iframe>
