Those in Texas say this disaster will likely be greater than Katrina. Thousands of homes are underwater.
Our friend, Louisiana Pastor Dale Sochia, Operation Save America (OSA), knows that the Salt and Light Brigade can be relied on to help. The Pass the Salt Ministries' Salt and Light Brigade have teamed up with OSA to provide funding and boots on the ground beginning Friday, Setember 22. in the Houston area.
We are asking those who can to come and help beginning on the 22th. Brigade soldiers are already responding. One dedicated warrior will be joining us with his food truck to feed the residents and the workers. Boat rescues are underway and we have helped cover gas costs to keep them running.
We are identifying areas where there is very little outside help. This is neighbor helping neighbor. We want people to trust Jesus for their provision, not the government. We eliminate the middle man.
The money and Brigade assistance goes directly from us to pastors on the ground who know the needs of their communities. We will assist these organizations with food operations, supplies/re-supplies and to administor hope and a message of encouragement to flood victims.
Funds received are administered by the Ministry and sent as needed to the deployment teams to purchase all foodstuffs, supplies and logistics items to support all operations. The Salt and Light Brigade leadership team is identifying all logistical support and funding needs daily.
If you are interested in joining our "Boots on the Ground" effort please go to our website for updates at https://coachdavelive.com. Housing and food will be provided. Your tax deductible donations to Pass the Salt Ministries are used to feed and assist people who need supplies and may not have anything left from the flooding.
This will be a long clean-up for Texas folks, and we aim to do our part in bringing hope and faith to the good people of Texas. Pass the Salt Ministries is a 501 (c) 3 non-profit, PO Box 744, Hebron, OH 43025. All donation funds are 100% used to support the mission. No salaries are paid from these funds. As the fund manager and Owner of Pass the Salt Ministries, I will be managing all funds received to pay for all supplies provided by the teams to flood victims.
