SENSE BC is a grassroots advocacy group for drivers. We believe the safe and reasonable behavior of road users should be legal. We believe that driving is a necessity in Canada, and we believe good drivers make for safer roads.
Because of this, we’ve fought relentlessly for realistic speed limits on BC / Canadian highways, better driving skills and education, Keep Right Except to Pass (anti-road rage) law, and against Automated Enforcement (Photo Radar). We successfully killed Photo Radar in BC in 2001, and we've been the defacto and only watchdog truly speaking out for drivers.
We provide information to the public and media which would never be published voluntarily by those special interests who see drivers as #roadviolence, nuisances, sources of revenue, job security for themselves, and piggy banks to be mercilessly tapped.
