Summer Feeding Program

There are kids in Stafford County who do not have access to healthy meals for lunch during the summer. Many of these kids may not have access to meals at all while school is not in session. When lunches are provided, they are typically at static locations that the kids may not be able to get to. We want to take fresh healthy meals directly to these kids! Our goal is to acquire a food truck specially designed to meet this need and provide lunches Mon-Fri in some of our neediest communities. School lets out in June, and we hope to have our truck up and running by then. This means we need to act quickly. To have the truck in place by June, we need to have it ordered by April 1, 2018. Will you help us reach our goal? We'll also need to sustain the program, so we will leave this campaign running through 2018.
