2015 Annual San Diego Military Thanksgiving Feast
San Diego Sportriders was born two years ago, and quickly grew to be one of Southern California's largest motorcycle communities. A large number of us are Marines and Sailors who know all too well that many recently transfered personnel spend Thanksgiving holiday alone in their barracks, as either time or money does not permit them to fly home to be with family and friends.
In gratitude and recognition of their sacrifice and service, San Diego Sportriders is hosting our 2nd Annual Thanksgiving Dinner for Active Duty Military who wish to spend the day devouring amazing homemade food, laughing with new and old friends, playing games, and watching the football game.
We need your help to fund this feast!
The estimated expense for hosting this event is $4,000, or $20.00 per plate for every Marine or Sailor. This cost will include food and supplies, including a few small door prizes. This year, we will be able to host 200 Marines and Sailors.
