Rylan's Medical Fund

Rylan and his twin Greyson were born at 30 weeks in April 2014. Sadly, Greyson passed away from an intestinal infection 10 days later. Rylan had the same infection, but luckily, was able to beat it. Because of being born so early and his digestive issues, Rylan was in the NICU for over 2 months. He was finally discharged in June with a special diet. His special formula costs almost $50 a can! Rylan is now 8 months old and has been diagnosed with bicoronal craniosynostosis. He will require skull surgery that mandates a week long stay in the hospital and an even longer recovery (which includes helmet therapy for over a year). Rylan's long list of medical needs is quickly growing and so are the medical bills. Rylan's mom (me) works as a first grade teacher and his father works full-time at a car rental company. While we have been working all we can and saving, it is not quite nearly enough. The medical bills that accumulated for Rylan and Greyson were just the start and it has been never ending. 

The money that you donate will go toward Rylan's skull surgery and other medical bills. It is to guarantee that he receives the best treatment, even though we cannot make enough to cover the costly surgery. This surgery is needed and if it is not done, the consequences are not good for his brain development. We are just trying to do everything for our son.
