Ryder the Rescue Cavailer

Donation protected

Ryder was rescued from a puppy mill and brought into Cavalier Rescue Foundation.  At only 6 months old his foster family quickly realized something was not right with Ryder's back leg.  After x-rays we relized his back leg was not straight like it should be, but more of a curve in the bone.

Today Ryder broke that bad leg jumping off the sofa.  Because the bone is not straight and normal he could face a life time of broken bones and issues.  After this break heals the vet is talking about rebuilding his leg so that the bone is straight like it should be.

Ryder was adopted to a wonderful woman who is a special education teacher, so her funds are limited.  As Ryder's foster mommy I would like to help raise the money needed for all of Ryder's medical bills.  Ryder deserves the life as a normal Cavalier.  He deserves to be able to jump and enjoy his life like any dog should.  Any donation would be greatly appreciated!!  Thank you all!!

*Updated - The vets have decided Ryder's leg was just so damaged that amputation would be his best option.  On July 18th Ryder's leg was removed.  He is still recovering, but we are looking forward to a great recovery!  We are still working towards our goal of $5000 to help with the cost and rehab.  Thank you all!!
