Giving back to MV's biggest fan!

Today I learned that Ruthie Nichols, one of Merrimack Valley students biggest cheerleaders- the adult who seems to be at every one of our students sports events at school as well as other extra curricular activities- may not be able to attend these events any more. This is not because of any lack of interest on Ruthie's behalf, but because she suffers from a debilitating defect in her back which had been managed by her doctors at Concord Orthopedics until now. With the change in health insurance (the district went to a cheaper HMO), she now has a $1000 deductible for the spinal injections which she gets in sets of three to manage her spinal condition. She was not able to afford to get her injections this summer which allow her to stand without constant pain. I asked Ruthie if I could share her story with the school community so any who may want to reach out to help her.
