Hi, my name is Heather. I am the neice by marriage to Russel and Priscilla Dubois. I have decided, with the consent of our family, to set up this Gofundme account. Saddly Russel past away unexpectedly do to a complication that arrose from a small procedure done at the VA hospital. He developed an infection that his body was unable to fight off.
Russel served as a Chaplin for the US Army for three years. Unfortunatley he misunderstood his death benefits and thought that the entire expense would be covered as part of his military benefits. Upon his death we discovered that this is not the case. We also found out that his life insurance policy had lapsed.
Russel leaves behind his wife Priscilla and their beautiful 3 year old little girl, as well as an adult son. Russel was the primary bread winner for his family while Pricilla pursued her MA certificate. At this time she is unable to afford the expenses that the services with cost. I know that as a chaplin and a devout christian, Russel has touched many lives. He sang and played his guitar to any one and everyone that would listen. It would mean so much to our family to be able to give Russel the honorable memorial service that he deserves. His memorial services will be held on Friday June 24, from 5-9 at Fry Memorial Chapel, located at 550 S Central Ave, Tracy Ca. We need to have everything paid for by the 23rd.
