Malika Mashack, Junior Olympic Bound!!!

Malika Phillips-Mashack 8yr. old future Olympian! She participated with a newer track club in the Inland Empire called the IE Stallions. Unfortunately, the team is only prepared to cover 20% of expenses in North Carolina for Malika, who excelled to the highest level, the Junior Olympics. Coincidentally, Malika, in her typical driven fashion, would go on to be the only athlete qualifying In both The 200meters as well as Long Jump! SHE IS THE ONLY ATHLETE ON THE TEAM WHO QUALIFIED IN A RUNNING EVENT.

We are delighted that she has achieved at such a high level in her first year of track & field. Specifically, she qualified for the Junior Olympics (USATF-a track only organization), being held in Greensboro, North Carolina. Additionally, she qualified for Junior Olympics (AAU- the largest youth sports organization, including track & field) being held in Detroit, Michigan. Consequently, we are hurriedly attempting to gather arrangements of hotel stay, flights and accommodations (while fighting over which parent can attend...lol.) We recognize that she may be able to only attend one, but are seeking donations and/or sponsorships to help offset expenses.

For all of you who understand competitive sports, particularly track know that it typically takes a couple of years to even get to the regional level. Therefore, regardless of how she finishes it is a HUGE accomplishment to have made it this far! I'm certain she will give 110% as she does in everything, as such, you can find comfort in knowing that WE DO NOT TAKE YOUR DONATION LIGHTLY.
