<div>Hi! I'm Judi Beecher. I'm making a feature length docu-drama entitled <strong>Run Ronya: The Kindness of Strangers </strong>about my mother Ronya who was deported from Germany with her parents at four and a half years old and imprisoned in Camp Rivesaltes in the south of France. A year later she was smuggled out by the Swiss Red Cross and put into hiding. At six-and-a-half years old she was one of only two children to escape across the French-Swiss border to freedom.. alone.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>We've completed four film shoots in Europe! Three with Ronya in France, Germany and Switzerland! Ronya, returned to the camps where she was imprisoned with her parents for the first time and followed the escape route she and her parents followed separately to miraculously escape from the camps in France into Switzerland. We shot reenactment scenes with 42 actors in 20 original locations in the South of France, following Ronya and her parents escape! We edited a rough cut of the film.

</div>
<div>With your help we will now must finish post production in the next few months. We still need Color correction, Sound Mixing, Original Score, Archival footage, Film festival submissions, Impact Campaigns, DCP's..

<div><strong>Why Now?</strong>
</div>
<div>The last generation of survivors are now in their late eighties and older. With the astounding rise in antisemitism around the world, it is more important than ever to promote acceptance and tolerance! A survey by Claims Conference finds significant lack of Holocaust knowledge in the United States. Four in ten Millennials don’t know that six million Jews were killed. There were over 40,000 camps and ghettos during the holocaust, and 49% of millennial can’t name one. Twenty two percent of Millennials say they haven’t even heard of the Holocaust. Soon there will be no one left who lived it first hand.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Ronya's journey to freedom and that of her parents was only possible through the compassion of strangers who placed themselves in harm's way. In today's world of intolerance, if we don’t learn, nothing will change.

<div><strong>FRANCE:</strong>
</div>

</div>
<div><strong>Pourquoi maintenant ?</strong>
</div>
</div>

</div>

<div><strong>GERMANY</strong>
</div>
<div>Hallo!
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
</div>
</div>
</div>
<div>Wir brauchen jetzt Ihre Hilfe!
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong> Warum gerade jetzt?</strong>
</div>
</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>

<div>Mit Liebe und Dankbarkeit,
</div>
