Rallying For Ruby

We wish to extend our sincere appreciation to the local community and beyond, for the overwhelming support and generosity during this challenging time for the O'Brien family. The response to date has well and truly exceeded our expectations and is testament to the caring and compassionate nature of this community and for this we THANK YOU.

As you can appreciate, the O'Brien family face challenges on a daily basis in order to give Ruby the best care and attention.
Plans to have Dr Charlie Teo operate changed late last week due to the appropriate services not being available until the 27th of this month. Given the critical nature of Ruby's condition, Chris and Brooke managed to secure another medical opinion, resulting in Ruby's operation being undertaken by Dr Brian Owler last Friday.

Ruby is recovering in Hospital following the operation and a treatment plan is to follow.

This is first step in a long journey ahead. The funds raised to date will continue to support the O'Brien family and ease the significant financial burden of ongoing medical and treatment costs.

Once again we wish to extend our appreciation for supporting the O'Brien family. It is very heartening to know that Ruby is in everyone's thoughts and prayers.

Our beautiful friends Brooke & Chris received the unimaginable news this week that their 17 month old daughter Ruby has a brain tumour. This page has been created to offer some support at this horrible time. With a sick baby comes time off work & with so many of us feeling somewhat helpless we thought this may be the best way to burden the financial strain a little for them. If people would like to contribute in any way at all I'm sure it will be very much appreciated by them.
