My name is Janelle and I am a single mom of a beautiful baby boy named Royal. He is just that: the king of my world and more precious than anything.
From the time that I told him I was pregnant, Royal's
biological father was convinced the baby was not his and
refused to claim him. He wouldn't even sign Royal's birth certificate at the hospital and didn¹t care enough to even live in the same state as his son. Plus, he has NEVER paid child support and has had extremely limited contact with our son.
I have been raising my son by myself since Royal was born. He will soon be a year old and suddenly his father has decided to try and take me to court in a custody battle. I have faith in our justice system to recognize that I have been Royal's sole support system emotionally and financially but faith alone will not help pay for an attorney to represent me, and, as a single mom, my finances are limited. I have done everything in my power to provide for Royal, to surround him with plenty of love from family and friends, put a roof over his head, and keep him safe and comfortable.
The purpose of this GoFundMe page is to help raise money to fight for full custody of my baby boy. Royal is my first and only priority. Please help me raise the money I need for an attorney to keep my baby in a healthy, stable, loving environment.
