The Roy, Jr & Emma Roy Feltson Fund

Donation protected

Our son, Roy was born on March 31, 1989, and went Home on September 26, 2014.

Our hearts are full of joy as Roy, Jr and Yesenia, the mother of his child, will bless us with a baby girl coming in February 2015, Emma Roy Feltson.

We recently found out that Roy's life insurance policy will not be paying out the funds we needed for his funeral arrangements and headstone.

In addition, we are hoping to help his daughter, our grandbaby, start her journey in life...

For those of you that have already donated, thank you so very much...We truly have no words...

The amount isn't important...any donation will help immensely.

Thank you very much for your help and support during this time...

Roy and Toni M Feltson, Sr.

Police are investigating the apparent stabbing death of a 25-year-old man found inside a Westmont apartment early Friday morning.

Westmont Police responded to an apartment in the 6700 block of Lakeshore Drive at 2:15 a.m. on Sept. 26 after receiving a 911 call, Sgt. Stephen Thompson said in a news release. Arriving officers found the man inside a third-floor unit. He appeared to have been stabbed, Thompson said.

Roy Feltson Jr. of northwest suburban Hanover Park was pronounced dead at the scene, Thompson said. Officials said they were conducting a death investigation and could not release any further information. It was not immediately clear who lived in the apartment where Feltson Jr. was found or why he was there.

Police Chief Thomas R. Mulhearn said, however, that the possible stabbing was an isolated incident and that there was no danger to the community at large.

"This was not a random act and was directed specifically toward the victim," Mulhearn said.

Feltson Jr.'s mother said that her son loved sports and was particularly fond of wrestling. She said he attended Glenbard North High School. Feltson and his girlfriend are expecting a girl in February, his mother said. She said the baby will be named Emma Roy.

"He would have been a really good dad," Toni Feltson said. "All he wanted was a baby."

Services were held.

The DuPage County Coroner's Office, DuPage County State's Attorney's Office and DuPage County Sheriff's Department all are assisting with the investigation.
