Bradshaw Family Financial Support

This page has been prepared and published with the permission of Nikki and Josh Bradshaw and all funds raised will be under their direct oversight.

On April 2, 2016 the lives of the Bradshaw Family was changed forever. While on their way to a high school reunion, Ron and Kaye Bradshaw were involved in a horrific car accident. At that moment, Ron departed this world and moved into the next. Kaye was left critically injured and clinging to life. After being airlifted to UAB Hospital and undergoing multiple surgeries, Kaye has stabilized to a certain extent but conditions are still subject to change without warning.

Ron was a dedicated servant and minister of the New Testament church and proudly professed the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ boldly and unashamed. Prior to his death, Ron was the pulpit minister for the Douglasville Church of Christ in Douglasville, GA. Although Ron is enjoying his reward in Paradise by serving faithfully as a Christian for many years, a minister's worldly lifestyle is often not one of great wealth and many riches other than the numerous lives he impacted.

In addition to the funeral and burial expenses for Ron, the recovery process from the injuries Kaye sustained will be long and draining physically, emotionally, and financially. At the moment, Nikki and Josh have been present and will remain present at the hospital for the forseeable future. As their loving parents would most certainly do for them, Nikki and Josh have placed their professional lives on hold for this defining moment. Unfortunately there comes a great cost to caring for their mother's needs at this time.

Many people have reached out to family and friends wanting to know what they can do to help this family in their time of trial. The first thing the Bradshaw Family covets is prayer. Ron and Kaye taught Nikki and Josh the power of prayer and the need of it to maintain the right relationship with Almighty God. The second thing needed is money. As you can imagine the costs will be enormous during the events to date in addition to the events to come. The projection is for Kaye to be in the Intensive Care Unit at UAB Hospital for at least 30 days and then an indefinite period of time for rehabilitation.

Nikki and Josh are very fortunate to have family nearby that have opened their hearts to assist with their basic needs. But now is the time when we must all come together and show our love for this family with an abundance of prayer and financial assistance. With great tragedy often comes an opportunity for great service. Ron and Kaye have spent their lives showing us the value of having a giving and unselfish heart and now is the time for us to give back to this wonderful family.

Any and all funds raised will be used by Nikki, Josh, and Kaye to offset expenses that have been and will be incurred during the recovery process such as but not limited to medical expenses, transportation, income replacement, basic needs, etc. Any amount given is greatly appreciated and will be wisely used.

It is humbling to hear of the many prayers that have been said on behalf of the Bradshaw Family and they ask you to please continue since it is giving them strength during this difficult time. May God bless this family during their time of need and bless you with this great opportunity to fill a need.
